Beautiful baby Aurora did a special in-home session with me at just two weeks old. This special image captures her parents perfectly – they are both sweet and serene people. I was so happy to capture this for them as a lifelong reminder of how tiny she was. I think I’d have to hang a giant gallery wrap of this photo over my mantle if this was my little babe!
Newborn sessions during the first two weeks of life are the ultimate “time in a bottle” sessions for me because baby will NEVER be so small and fragile, so wrinkly and dependent and so truly NEW after that first two weeks.
I agree…if you are lucky enough to be able to have your baby photographed between the sleepless nights and the numerous feedings, it’s a moment that you can never get back…only a few people remember what the little ones looked like…but if you can get someone to capture the memories they will be there for everyone to see and remember. You do an amazing job of capturing every detail!! Thank you for sharing your work!
