Wheat Photography is owned by photographer Jenny Wheat. Jenny’s wonderful sister-in-law Ruth is her business partner who handles orders, client service and business development. Together, Jenny and Ruth have created a unique studio unlike anything you’ve experienced. Have you been to a studio that is relaxing but top-of-the-line? Fun and free but very professional? It’s hard to describe but it really is a fancy, high-end studio with a ’shoes off’ vibe.
We also have a second photographer – Chad - who handles our wedding photography and some events.
We want every session we offer to be a truly unique, creative, one-of-a-kind experience – capturing images of fun, love, movement, light, creativity, family closeness and childhood wonder!
Visit our amazing 5,000 sq. ft. studio for any kind of in-studio portrait you can imagine from fun and free to a gorgeous formal portrait. Or invite us out on the town or into your home for a session with your kids blowing bubbles, baking cookies, finger painting, in a bubble bath, flying a kite, building a snowman, planting flowers, making pancakes in your jammies, building a sofa cushion fort, at a Royals game, at a carnival, in an arcade, drawing with sidewalk chalk… and we’ll capture any images you dream of!
Seniors and couples, try a session in an art gallery, a coffee shop, our urban loft downtown, walking around Westport, at a concert, finger painting together, jumping in a lake, riding horses, at Union Station, cooking a romantic dinner, or anything you love to do!
